A general question on this: If the Texture memory reported to a DirectX app is greater than the AGP aperture size (or the aperture plus whatever part of the on-board memory on the graphics card isn't otherwise in use), that would cause significant performance slowdown if

Regarding Device Video Memory
DxDiag is reporting "Enabled" on everything. Even the nVIDIA GeForce3 card is reporting 2048MB of VRAM when the card actually has 64MB. at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x8007000e (Out of memory) I suspect the "Out of memory" error is a result of the incorrect VRAM assessment from the DxDiag tool.

I noticed during all this that the vcore is not right, AT ALL, from the reporting programs in XP, Asus Probe, Sandra, etc... from what I set it to in the BIOS. So is my vcard actually not using that extra 64 megs of video memory or is it, and it being another program mistake/error?
